GAP invests £7 million in new equipment
GAP Group, the UK’s largest independent plant & tool hirer, has commenced purchasing new unmanned plant for delivery in the first financial quarter of 2010/11.
Keeping up its reputation as being leaders in capital expenditure, GAP has spent £7million on brand new equipment including Compressors, Dumpers, Excavators and Rollers. This equates to almost 400 pieces of new kit which will be distributed throughout GAP’s 58 locations across the UK
Ken Stewart, Group Procurement Manager at GAP, commented: “All of our suppliers, especially manufacturers, have been through a recent difficult trading period. Some long-awaited confidence has now returned to the market place which is reflected in our recent orders for delivery of new equipment from April thru `June”.
