Scottish Half Marathon - September 2010

After the great success of the Silverstone Half Marathon, raising a huge total of £3,850.00 the GAP running team are now running the Great Scottish Half Marathon or 10K on Sunday 5th September 2010.

As with the Silverstone Half Marathon, we are raising money for Help the Hospices, GAP's chosen charity partner.  We will also be raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support in memory of a much loved and respected colleague Sheena Reid who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Help the Hospices:  The vision of Help the Hospices is to ensure that everyone at the end of their lives have access to the best possible care, from young children to adults, making them feel as comfortable as possible and helping families deal with their loss. 

MacMillan Cancer Support:  MacMillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.  They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.  Cancer affects all of us in different ways and MacMillan help all involved.
