GAP awarded preferred supplier status by Enserve

GAP Group has recently been awarded preferred supplier status by EnServe, for the supply of plant & tools. EnServe, which is a provider of outsourced infrastructure support services, principally to the Utility sector, has a number of specialist utilities companies operating within its business, including Freedom Utilities; a world class provider of engineering services to the electricity sector, and H2O Water Services which is one of the leading providers of customer facing work on water networks in the UK.

In the last few months, EnServe put out two tenders; one for non-operated plant and the other for tools and equipment, and GAP is pleased to announce that it has been successful in both. As a result, the family owned plant and tool hirer has been confirmed as one of two preferred suppliers for the plant & tool range of equipment.

GAP’s Business Development Director, Colin Haxton, comments; “This is a fantastic opportunity for GAP to demonstrate its expertise in the utility market, especially for a client who has no previous experience of our business”.

A number of key elements attributed to GAP being selected by EnServe, including our proven capability in the highly demanding utility sector, the provision of a managed service (GAP one) and our excellence in providing a consistent service delivery across the country; not to mention our competitive commercial proposal.

EnServe is a large company, with a turnover in excess of £300 million, and ambitious growth plans to further expand over the next few years. The company is keen to work alongside GAP, which shares its growth objectives.
