£50 Million GAP

GAP Group Ltd., The UK's Largest Independent Plant & Tool Hirer, is on course to achieve £50 million turnover by 2004. Interim results for the current financial year, released this week, show that GAP are well on course to breaking through the £50 million mark.

Turnover for the 6 months to the 30th September 2001 is £17 million, up 20% on last year, with a 36% increase in profits for the same period. The Group's ambitious plans will mean the creation of a further 150 jobs in the next 3 years, taking the current total of 460 to an impressive 610.

GAP has opened 4 new Greenfield locations in 2001, the most recent being Watford and Norwich in the last 2 months. The Watford depot saw the company locate inside the M25 for the first time, opening up the London market and taking them within touching distance of genuine national coverage, and becoming one of the few truly national players in the industry.
