GAP's newest division 'faring well' since launch

GAP Hire Solution’s new Welfare Services division offers customers the latest, most eco-friendly products in the market from their six dedicated depots located throughout the UK.  The latest addition to the GAP portfolio fully complements its existing divisions, namely Plant & Tool Hire, Event Services, Survey & Safety Hire, Non-Mechanical Plant and Lifting Hire & Sales.

GAP Welfare Services was set up in August 2014 to make life more comfortable on construction sites and at events across the UK through the supply of portable toilets and welfare units. Carefully selecting the most environmentally friendly and innovative suppliers, GAP’s welfare products provide benefits such as low noise pollution, reduced fuel consumption, hot or cold running water and PIR lighting where required.

GAP is the only supplier of the FREEDOM 3 portable disabled toilets in the UK. These units are approved by the ADA (American Disability Association) and offer wheelchair accessibility, a baby changing facility and the Radar padlock system.  Each product hired from GAP Welfare Services is supported by a robust servicing regime. All members of the team have taken and passed the National Sanitation Qualification so customers can rest assured that GAP will help raise standards and promote best practice with all of their welfare products and services.

Keith Bodinnar, Welfare Services Division Manager, commented:

We are very excited about the team that we have recruited to make GAP’s Welfare Services division the best in the UK.  Our 12ft eco welfare units have been flying out the door onto customer sites throughout the country since our launch. GAP’s current depot network and experience has proven to be a great springboard for our launch into Welfare Services. We are busy working very closely with our key partners and suppliers to increase production of the welfare units so that we can consistently offer current and prospective customers this fantastic new product from the GAP portfolio.

GAP Welfare Services is currently trading from Harthill, Warrington, Derby, Waltham Cross, Bristol and Bournemouth and has plans to open up to six more depots throughout the UK in 2015.
