Howzat! GAP helps Jewson leave competitors stumped

GAP Hire Solutions recently sponsored a charity cricket match hosted by Jewson and featuring the appearance of various celebrities and sports stars.

The big match witnessed Jewson All Stars take on Lashings Cricket Team to raise money for charity. The charities chosen to benefit from the event were Barnardo’s and The Aspinall Foundation.

The Jewson All Stars were captained by former Crystal Palace and England winger John Salako and featured the winner of Big Brother 2016, Jason Burrill and TV presenter Michael Kurn. The Lashings team was made up of ex-professional cricket players including Wasim Jaffer, Martin Bicknell and Yasir Arafat amongst other famous names within the cricket world.

GAP’s involvement included the supply of 14 chemical toilets, an 8T excavator and a 9T dumper to support the range of equipment Jewson can offer. These products came from GAP’s Welfare Services division, which specialises in the hire of portable toilets and welfare units. GAP’s Plant & Tool division supplied the excavator and dumper.

The Jewson All Stars stormed the pitch and triumphed over the Lashings team. Competitors and spectators then enjoyed live music by various bands and headlined by X Factor winner Sam Bailey. GAP’s Major Account Manager, Darren Lipscombe, is pictured with John Salako and Sam.
