GAP protected against cyber threats
GAP Hire Solutions is now listed and certified to Cyber Essentials Plus level.
As cyber threats evolve, so must our defences. GAP works tirelessly to strengthen our security infrastructure and reduce the risks posed by cyber-attacks. This accreditation is further evidence of the hard we work do here at GAP.
Cyber Essentials Plus helps prevent many common cyber-attacks. Even a simple virus or piece of malware could result in loss of company and client data, disrupt cashflow and take up staff time. An attack could also put off our customers, prevent GAP trading and damage our hard-earned reputation. This is why GAP’s IT department works tirelessly to counter such attacks, while staying one step ahead.
Cyber Essentials Plus is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against the most common threats found on the internet. The scheme identifies the essential security controls companies such as GAP need within their IT systems to increase cyber resilience. Cyber Essentials Plus covers the same requirements as Cyber Essentials but instead of the organisation completing a self-assessment questionnaire, tests of their systems are carried out by an external certifying body, using a range of tools and techniques.
The Certificate of Compliance certifies that GAP conforms with the requirements of the Cyber Essentials Plus Scheme, providing independent assurance to customers, partners and clients that we have the suitable protections correctly in place to control the risks of cyber-crime.
We are proud to display the Cyber Essentials Plus badge which demonstrates that we have implemented good risk management and take cyber security seriously.
