GAP achieves transition to worldwide recognised certification
GAP has successfully transitioned to the new ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) 2015 ISO Standards.
ISO certification is well established around the world. To achieve transition to the new Standards, GAP had to demonstrate that it can meet the regulatory requirements and apply the systems effectively.
The process of transition to the new Standards encompasses the entire organisation and requires Senior Management ‘buy-in’, it is not just a function of GAP’s SHE Risk & Compliance Team.
The deadline for achieving the new Standards is December 2018, however GAP has been proactive in achieving transition to these Standards over one year in advance.
GAP's Head of Safety, Risk & Compliance Allister Maxwell commented: "I am delighted with our ISO certification as it confirms we are committed to the highest working standards. GAP will always strive to maintain these standards for both our customers and employees in the workplace."
