GAP Group launches fencing and barriers e-commerce website
The UK's leading independent equipment hire company, GAP Group, has launched a new online store - www.gap-group-sales.co.uk.
GAP Sales Solutions offers customers the opportunity to purchase from a range of fencing and crowd control barriers, which can be delivered quickly to anywhere in the UK.
GAP’s Joint Managing Director Iain Anderson explained: "his is a landmark moment for GAP. We listen to our customers and understand that in certain circumstances, they might want to buy and own their equipment outright, rather than hire it. That’s where GAP Sales Solutions comes in. With only a few clicks, your equipment will be on its way to your site.”
GAP Group has been a trusted provider of equipment to various industries including the events, construction, utilities and civil engineering trades for almost 50 years’ and have 140 depots nationwide.
The new e-commerce website allows users to source fencing, barriers and ancillary items such as fence blocks and clips from any one of GAP’s 14 Non-Mechanical depots throughout the UK, allowing customers to benefit from reduced delivery costs. The buying process is very simple and with just a few short steps, the entire order can be completed in less than five minutes.
GAP is renowned in the industry for investing in new products, so customers will have access to some of the newest, most reliable and environmentally friendly equipment available in the industry.
GAP’s Non-Mechanical Northern Operations Manager Joe Ward commented: “GAP is one of the UK’s largest stockists of fencing and crowd control barriers, allowing us to offer customers competitive pricing. In addition to providing customers brand-new equipment alongside first-class customer service, ex-event stock will also be available at reduced prices.”
"The PayPal platform utilised on the website enables us to accept most forms of payment, including all major credit cards and debit cards. All transactions between customers and PayPal occur over secure SSL connections.”
Iain Anderson concluded: “GAP Sales Solutions allows customers to take advantage of the fact we can source large quantities of Non-Mechanical Plant items such as fencing and barriers, and buy from us directly. We’re excited that for the first time, the new sales website will allow the general public and those businesses who do not have an account with GAP, to deal with us.
“There will be an opportunity to get other divisions, such as Lifting, involved for the sale of products in the future. Watch this space!”
