Since 2017, GAP Hire Solutions has been sponsoring various youth teams throughout the UK each year and the Group is very pleased to announce they will be continuing this for the fourth year running.
The six teams to receive funding from GAP this year are:
- Crowborough Athletic FC – youth football teams
- Dalziel Rugby Club – youth rugby teams
- Farsley Celtic Football Club – under 15 football team
- Hyde Park Knights – under 12 football team
- Orsett Park Royals Football Club – under 16 football team
- Thatto Heath Crusaders – under 11 rugby team
The money that these teams will receive from GAP will help them to fund various costs throughout the season, such as kits, necessary equipment and pitch hire or grounds maintenance.
Iain Anderson, Managing Director at GAP, commented: “GAP is always keen to support the local communities we operate within, especially when it means helping to inspire children and young people within those communities.
“The fact that we are in a position to be able to continue our youth teams sponsorship this year is fantastic. Playing in sports teams teaches youngsters a lot of key life skills, such as communication, responsibility and, of course, working in a team, which will help them as they grow up, even beyond playing sports.
“We wish all the teams the very best of luck in their respective seasons this year!”
