The Role:

Based in Head Office, an excellent opportunity has arisen in our IT Department for a Infrastructure & Security Analyst. We are interested in hearing from highly motivated candidates who have an IT related degree, experience of working within an IT team and looking to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies. This position will help guide the future infrastructure developments from conception to implementation.

Applicants should have:

• Knowledge and experience of supporting virtual hardware and software technologies e.g. VMware, Hypervisors, Cloud (Microsoft Azure)
• Understanding of network/security technologies from an end-user perspective, such as the use of web proxy, mail gateways, network access and firewall technologies.
• Knowledge and experience of Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange and MSSQL technologies in a support context
• Experience of Linux operating systems
• Ability to liaise with 3rd Party Vendors
• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently.
• Solid understanding of the network technologies stack, e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum of 3 years working in IT Support.
• Patch management (SCCM).
• Anti-Virus management
• Web and E-mail content filtering
• Scripting & Automation (Powershell, VBScript)
• Backup Management (Veeam)
• Basic understanding of current cyber & information security best practice


Experience:

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
