Used in pairs, horizontal plate clamps are used for transporting single plates and plate bundles, up to 500kg, or single plates with a minimum thickness of 5mm, that tend to sag when lifted.

A pair of clamps, when used with a two-legged chain sling, is ideal for handling small plates. For larger plates, it's recommended to use two pairs of clamps with a spreader beam. These units come standard with smooth jaws, but hardened steel serrated jaws are also available for specialised applications. Comes equipped with a locking mechanism.
