Full Description
The Hilti PS 250 Rebar Detector System is a powerful, non-destructive solution for detecting and analysing rebar in concrete structures. Designed for efficiency and precision, it quickly scans large areas of concrete—up to 45 x 45 metres—making it ideal for slabs, bridges, and tunnels. It accurately locates rebar, estimates its size, and provides precise concrete cover depth measurements up to 10 cm. The system records scan data over lengths of up to 30 metres, displaying clear 2D and 3D images on the high-resolution PSA 200 tablet for real-time analysis and jobsite markup. Users can record voice notes on-site for a more detailed review of scan data later on a laptop or computer. When combined with Hilti PROFIS Detection and Ferroscan Map Software, the PS 250 enables advanced data processing, batch evaluation of large scan volumes, detailed reporting, data archiving, and seamless integration with CAD applications. Whether for structural inspection or pre-drilling safety checks, the Hilti PS 250 ensures accuracy, efficiency, and jobsite confidence.
