Among the six awards that GAP Hire Solutions has been shortlisted for at the Hire Awards of Excellence is the SafeHire Event Equipment Hire Company of the Year accolade.
GAP’s Events division, a part of the UK’s largest independent rental company, has gone from strength to strength since its establishment in 2014. With over 140 depots strategically located across the country, GAP has the coverage to service any event – regardless of size, location or timespan.
GAP’s Event Services made it onto the shortlist by successfully demonstrating to the judges how the division achieves commercial success through the adoption of company values and procedures by all employees. The provision of stimulating and supportive workplaces, the active development of all their employees and a sustainable approach to business were also acknowledged to be key judging criteria.

The Hire Awards of Excellence will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Saturday 13th April and will be hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke. Numerous representatives and nominees from GAP, including both Joint Managing Directors, Douglas and Iain Anderson, and the Director of our Events, Welfare and Non-Mechanical divisions, Karen Greenshields, will be amongst the 350 people in attendance at this prestigious awards ceremony.
