Making an Impact: GAP Giving Round-Up May 2024

With May coming to an end, we’re pleased to share our GAP Giving contributions for this month. Committed to donating at least 0.5% of our company’s profits to worthy charities, hand selected by our GAP workforce.

Dedicated Donations

Two charities were highlighted by our GAP employees to receive a donation this month. The chosen charities were Pebbles Legacy and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, both of which have had an impact of the lives of those GAP employees and their loved ones.

May Matches

Members of the GAP team raised funds for a number of charities throughout the month of May, including Suffolk MIND, Cancer Research and Maggies Centre. All money raised was matched by GAP.

Chosen Charities of the Month

The May Charities of the Month chosen to receive donations were Edinburgh Children's Hospital, Guide Dogs and Erme Valley Riding School for the Disabled, selected by our Scotland Plant & Tools, Procurement and Non-Mech & Welfare for the Midlands and South West Teams, respectively.

Significant Impact

At GAP, we recognise the significant impact that donations to these charities can have. Regardless of the amount given, each donation contributes to the positive difference these charities are making.
